Being one of the most visited cities in India, Jaipur has a lot to offer in terms of accommodation. There are several hostels, BnBs, resorts, hotels, and vacation homes for each type of traveler at various budgets. But, when a city is so full of palaces and Havelis, then why not consider staying at one?

For your next visit, here are seven affordable Havelis turned Jaipur hotels which you can call Home:

  1. Alsisar Haveli
    Over a hundred yearsold, this 19th century heritage property speaks of grandeur and aristocracy with its architecture, antique furniture and royal ambience. Slightly away from the hustle-bustle of busy streets, it’s a great choice if you’re looking to treat yourself regally for a couple of days.
    Tariff: INR 4,900 onwards.
  2. Karnot Mahal
    Situated in the old city, it’s your place if you want to stay near the railway station with easy access to Hawa Mahal and local market. It may not look great from the outside, but once you enter, you’ll be surprised with clean spacious rooms and traditional hospitality.
    Tariff: INR 2,200 onwards. 
  3. Khandaka Haveli
    Lesser known, Khandaka is one of the best options to experience royal legacy on a budget. Each room boasts of its unique wall paintings and the courtyard is always bustling with activity. The staff is friendly and takes care of everything you need from laundry to heritage walk tours.
    Tariff: INR 1400 onwards. 
  4. Khandela Haveli
    If owners are to be believed, the history of this mansion dates back to 16th century. Restored beautifully, it combines the rustic charm with all modern amenities, including a bar and a pool. Tucked away in a quiet area, it might be hard to locate but a great find nonetheless.
    Tariff: INR 4,500 onwards. 
  5. Nahar Singh Haveli
    Owned and managed by a local couple, it’s another fantastic place to unwind for backpackers and budget travellers. Quiet neighbourhood, home-cooked food, centrally located and equipped with the basic facilities, it comes as a breath of affordable fresh air.
    Tariff: INR 750 onwards. 
  6. Nana ki Haveli
    Originally a garden house, this 110-year-old Haveli was refurbished to offer new-age facilities and comfort along with comfortable environment. Mrs. Singh, the owner makes sure you enjoy the delicious vegetarian food and assists the guests with getting around the city.
    Tariff: INR 2,000 onwards.
  7. Welcome heritage Sirsi Haveli
    Away from the main town, it’s on the outskirts of Jaipur, in a village named ‘Sirsi’. It’s an excellent place for a peaceful escape or for one of those ‘do-nothing’ weekends. Helpful staff, brilliant service and living close to nature make it a memorable stay.
    Tariff: INR 3,000 onwards.

  1. The above mentioned Havelis are amazing and gives the royal environment to the guests. Adding up to the list there are 2 more Havelis that I know, named Sajjan Niwas and Umaid Bhawan, just behind Jaipur collectorate.
